I can see clearly now!

Fascism, from the Latin fascis, to bundle, is to combine government and industry, ergo an entire economy. Our government and media have trivialized this by calling it "Crony Capitalism". This has classically resulted in regimes that exalt nation over the individual and stand for centralized autocratic governments headed by dictatorial leaders exercising severe economic and social regimentation, with the forcible suppression of any opposition. This was also the principle of the National Socialist German Workers Party, a unique variety of racial Fascism.

The Leftist end objective of both Fascism and Nazism was Communism -- the elimination of private property. Under a total system of the State owned means of production, all goods are then owned in common, and are available to all as needed in a system of redistribution. The utopian promise is, the State will ultimately wither away and all goods will then be owned and distributed equitably under a principal of the collective. Workers of the world unite -- we all know how this story ends!

These useless European ideas have been applied around the planet by dictatorial governments of all stripes. Here in America the words Fascism, Nazism and Communism were far too hyperbolic to catch on, or succeed, so for more than 100 years the American euphemism has been Progressivism.
How quaint!

Our Nation has lived through other upheavals of war and economic disaster. Our time will now be dominated by the worldwide contagion of economic collapse all blamed on Capitalism, a concept that has been financially drugged, raped, litigated, controlled, regulated and strangled out of its natural capacity for decades. The only economic engine that could save us now is constrained by a thousand Lilliputian Progressive strings tying it down in a way that gives voice to all the dispossessed that "occupy" in our cities.

As Aesop expected we are now in the process of killing The goose with the golden eggs, and none of the Occupy morons know the truth. Well some do, but they are the Occupy Organizers who morphed out of Community Organizing. Our government is complicit and colluding in a Bottom up strategy that by mid 2012 will have our cities paralyzed, our National political conventions under siege, and our economy in free fall. Then, in a magnanimous Top down move, our Government will step in to save us with martial law, and the promise of restoring order, only to surprise us with the planned postponement of National elections that will never recur in our lifetime.

Moreover, just as in Germany, where all military and law enforcement dutifully followed their Fuhrer, I expect the same will happen here. It already is -- following orders you know.

So, hope for the best, but plan for the worst, because the next twelve months are going to be like nothing we could ever, EVER, have imagined "O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?" Like the proverbial frog, America is now in a somewhat cool pan, but will be boiled to death before reality sets in. It will then be too late.
